Not a destination, just traces I’ve followed
I’m Waon Shio — an independent artist drawn to the quiet spaces between things. I work slowly and privately, guided more by instinct than ambition. What I share here isn’t meant to explain or impress. It’s simply the residue of things that stayed with me — feelings, moments, fragments — shaped into something I could leave behind.
Alongside my songs, this site also holds a series of short stories. They revolve around the mysterious, the hidden, and the inexplicable — fragments of lives, encounters, and events that are hard to place between truth and invention. I won’t say which parts are real, and which are not. Perhaps that’s not the point. What matters is what they stir in you.
You don’t need to read everything at once. Some things are better found slowly, in no particular order. Wander as you like. If something catches you — a sentence, a silence, a strange feeling you can’t name — stay with it for a while. That’s where the real story begins.
I don’t write to make anyone believe. I simply lay down the thoughts that have lived within me — like someone leaving stones through a long night, for those who are also lost in the desert of being.
